Jan. 11, 2003, Cemetery cleaned, stones being pushed over by trees were righted, and has gone under the perpetual care of the Gates County S.C.V Camp 2003.
Previously found was a broken cornerstone inscribed with a "W" next to the Hudgins stone. During cleanup, another W cornerstone and a D cornerstone were unearthed. Numerous unmarked graves were also found and a temporary marker was also unearthed (see above).
