A funeral was held Nov. 14, 2002 in Bethlehem Baptist Church by the Rev. Bob Skeens. Burial was in the Bazemore Family Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to University Health Care Hospice, P.O. Box272, Ahoskie, NC 27910, or to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1024 NC Hwy 561 East, Ahoskie, NC 27910. Survivors include three sisters, Helen Bazemore of Cofield, Mary Rountree of Gatesville, Ruby Carter of Fayetteville; and a brother, Bobby Bazemore of Cofield. Eutha M. Wilson Wilson was the daughter of the late Raleigh Myrick and Fannie Daniels Myrick. She was the wife of Ulis Wilson of the home [sic]. A funeral was held Nov. 8, 2002 at Blanchard Grove Baptist Church with the Elder Quinton L. Jordan Sr. and the Rev. Charlie Moore officiating. Burial was in the Wilson Family Cemetery. Survivors include five daughters, Bessie Saunders of Sunbury, Christine Brown of Danbury, Conn., Beulah Johnson of Waterbury, Conn., Florence Hurdle of Winfall and Judy Jordan of Hertford; two sons, McKinley Wilson of Eure and John Wilson of Elizabeth City; five sisters, Margie Jordan of Hobbsville and Alberta Moody of Gatesville, Doris Wilson of Corapeake, Nancy Smith of Gatesville, Doris Wilson of Corapeake, Nancy Smith of Gates and Geraldine Ope of Bronx, NY; a brother, George Myrick of Gatesville; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Clarine J. Winslow Winslow was the daughter of the late Mary Lizzie Chappell and Jesse Thomas Winslow. She was a member of Sandy Cross Baptist Church. A funeral was held Nov. 8, 2002 in Swindell Funeral Home Chapel in Hertford with the Rev. Vern Gilmer officiating. Burial was in the Winslow Family Cemetery. Survivors include four sisters, Jessie Mae Williams of Belvidere, Delsie W White of Hobbsville, Miller W. Eder of Winter Springs, FL, and Blannie W. Copeland of Tyner. Beatrice C. Cullipher Cullipher was a homemaker and the daughter of William and Meddie Belangia Byrum. She was the widow of the William Buy [sic] Cullipher Sr. A funeral was held Nov. 16, 2002 in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville by the Rev. Billy Presley. Burial was in the Edgewood Cemetery, Windsor. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720. Survivors include two sons, William Guy Cullipher Jr. of Ahoskie and Gary Wayne Cullipher of Lumberton, NC; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Lucy W. Small A graveside service will be conducted at Nov. 19, 2002 in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens by the Rev. James Thompson. Mrs. Small was a lifelong member of Eureka Baptist Church, Corapeake. Survivors include four children, Roland Curtis Small of
Gates County, Dorothy S. Belangia, Ann S. Finck and Jaqueline S. Britton,
all of Chesapeake; a sister, Marjorie W. Romanchuck of Chesapeake; nine
grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. |
