Gates County Community Funeral Home was in charge. Mrs. Dildy was a retired homemaker and member of the Lebanon Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include he husband, Charlie Dildy Sr.; a daughter, Dorothy D. Harris; a son, Charlie G. Dildy Jr.; a sister, Lucille Washington of New Haven, Conn.; two brothers, Hardy Blanchard of Bronx, N.Y. and Wendell Blanchard of Waterbury, Conn.; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Bob G. Johnson A Mass of Christian burial was conducted at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church by the Rev. Paschal Kniew, O.S.B. Burial was in Rosewood memorial Park, Holloman-Brown Funeral Home was in chare. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association, Johnson was the owner of Safety Management Inc. and a Marine Corps aviator. Survivors include his wife, June Johnson; three sons, Philip Johnson of Martinsville, Robert Johnson of Corapeake and Christopher Baxter Johnson of Chesapeake; two sisters, JoAnne Siebert and Rebecca Sadler; a brother, Gary Johnson; and a grandson. Sarah Davis A funeral was conducted at Hunter's Funeral Home Chapel, Ahoskie, by the Rev. James R. Wiggins, Burial was in the Vaughn family cemetery, Cofield. Survivors include four brothers, Archie Lassiter of Gates, Daniel Lassiter of Cofield, Norman and Willie Lassiter, both of Ahoskie; four sisters, Hattie Combs of Petersburg, Va., Emma Ward of Ahoskie, Carrie Reid and Wilma Askew, both of Cofield.
