Tadlock was a retired farmer and a member of the Cashie United Methodist Church. He was a mason, affiliated with Charity Lodge #5, and a member of the Veteran's Club. Survivors include a son, William A. Tadlock III of Windsor; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Anthony D. Robinson A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Roanoke Salem Baptist Church, Garysburg, by Elder James Easter. Interment will be in Roanoke Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. H.D. Pope Funeral Home, Roanoke Rapids, is in charge. Geneva D. Piland A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Mike Derflinger in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Piland was a member of Magnolia United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce P. Ieager Lester; a sister, Margaret Spivey of Suffolk; a brother, William Duck of Gatesville; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Louise G. Simons A graveside service was conducted Wednesday in Holly Lawn Cemetery by the Revs. Michael D. Halley and Mark Burns. R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home was in charge. Survivors include a daughter, Susan S. Barnes of Suffolk; one son, Phillip Gardner Simons of Roebuck, S.C.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and two step grandchildren, Evie W. Byrum Funeral services were conducted in Hunters Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church with Terry White and Deloras Meads. Burial was in Up River Cemetery. Swindell Funeral Home was in charge. Mrs. Byrum worked as a seamstress in garment manufacturing and attended Hunters Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors include four daughters, Frances Copeland of Belvidere, Evie Castelow of Cofield, Myrtle Ramos of Seven Springs and Rebecca White of Hertford; two sons, Daniel Belcher of Chesapeake and Carson White of Hertford; a stepson, James Byrum of Tyner; three sisters, Vivian White of Windsor, Vinnie Overton and Revie Allen, both of Chesapeake; 15 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Robert L. Rascoe Sr. Rascoe was retired from the City of Norfolk. Survivors include his three daughters, Jennifer Moore Rascoe, Lisa Rascoe and Shelia Little; two sons, Robert Rascoe and Torey Rascoe; three sisters; and six brothers. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Bibleway Holiness Church. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Graves Funeral Home is in charge. |
