She worked at Nansemond Suffolk Academy, prior to her illness. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a daughter of the late Ann and Major Goodman. She was predeceased by two brothers, William C. Jones and Vernon L. Jones and raised by maternal grandmother, the late Bertha Brown. Survivors include her husband, Arthur L. Seaborn; a brother, David Jones and wife, Thersa; four sisters, Barbara Smith (James), Denice Sheppard (Dwight), Bertha Winston (Paul) of Chesapeake and Gloria Harvey (Ronald Duke); a foster sister, Ruby Davis; sister-in-law, Joyce R. Jones; 16 nieces; 15 nephews; two uncles, Carl Goodman (Arlene) of Gates County, N.C. and Claude Goodman of Philadelphia, Pa.; and an aunt, Ann Jennings of Philadelphia. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1351 Whitemarsh Road, Suffolk. Family will receive friends at 400 Butternut Court, Suburban Woods. The family would like to thank Obici Memorial Hospital and staff, Suffolk Artificial Dialysis Center, Suffolk Medical Practice, Sentara Home Health, Suffolk Rescue Squad, friends, neighbors, and a special thank you to Soloman Darden for all his years of support to the Seaborn and Jones families. Crocker Funeral Home is in charge. D. Keith Godwin Keith was born in Norfolk Nov. 8, 1959, the son of Donald H. Godwin and Lynette Martens Godwin of Kitty Hawk, N.C. Keith spent his childhood and teenage years growing up in Kitty Hawk and he had a strong desire to return to the Outer Banks and make Kitty Hawk his home once again. He was a 1978 graduate of Manteo High School and also attended Elon University. Keith was a developer, Realtor and owned and operated D.K.G. Builders. In addition to his parents, Keith is survived by his wife Lia Tunstall Godwin; two sons, Brendan Godwin and Tyler Godwin, all of Durham; a sister, Tamara Godwin Jones and husband Bill Jones of Southern Shores, N.C.; and a grandmother, Maye Eden ``Maisie'' Martens of Virginia Beach. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Trinity Avenue Presbyterian Church, Durham. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service. A memorial service is planned in Kitty Hawk and will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Patient Support Program, Duke Cancer Center, DUMC, Box 3828, Durham, NC 27710. Louis K. Hall Dorothy T. Lodge Mrs. Lodge was born in Hollywood, Fla., and was the daughter of the late Miles and Flossie Batton Twiddy. A clerk at Hollowell and Blounts Drug Store in Edenton for many years, she was a member of Edenton Baptist Church and particularly enjoyed the fellowship of the Bethany Sunday School class. Preceded in death by her husbands, Donald R. Faircloth and Alton L. ``Tom'' Lodge, she is survived by two daughters, Sharlie Faircloth Twiddy and husband, Bill of Myrtle Beach, S.C,. and Cindy Faircloth Dotson of Clay, W.Va.; three sons, Donald M. Faircloth and wife, Pearl, Michael E. Faircloth and wife, Traude, and Andy Faircloth and wife, Renee, all of Edenton; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, Edenton, by Dr. Wayne Proctor. Burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Friends may join the family today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home and all other times at the home of Mike and Traude Faircloth, 604 Surfside Drive, Edenton. John J. Walklet Surviving other than his wife are two daughters, Deborah Smith and husband James of Urbana, Ill., and Megan Walklet of Bethesda, Md.; seven sons, John J. Walklet III and wife Judy of Oakland, Calif., Phillip E. Walklet and wife Lulu of Fairfield, Conn., Preston N. Walklet and wife Florence of Minnetonka, Minn., Richard S. Walklet of Weston, Conn., Colin B. Walklet and wife Heather of West Port, Conn., Keith S. Walklet and wife Annette of Boise, Idaho, and Christopher Walklet and wife Sandy of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a brother, Richard Walklet of Sun City Center, Fla.; and 22 grandchildren. Mr. Walklet was predeceased by his sister, Mary Pennington. A celebration of Mr. Walket's life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Anne Catholic Church with the Rev. Roch Drozdzik officiating.
