A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Twiford's Memorial Chapel. Sarah L. Liverman WOODLAND -- Sarah Lee Liverman, 94, died April 29, 2003, in Autumn Care in Rich Square, N.C. Mrs. Liverman was born Oct. 19, 1908, in Northampton County, N.C., the daughter of the late John W. Lee and Blannie Whitley Lee. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Liverman Sr. Mrs. Liverman was a faithful member of Woodland Baptist Church where she had served on the Board of Deacons, as a Sunday school teacher, a member of the WMU, and past chairman of the social committee. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her son, John Henry Liverman Jr. and his wife, Pat, of Woodland; two daughters, Hilda L. Bryant of Williamston, N.C., and Sarah L. Mathias of Lexington, S.C.; two sisters, Elsie L. Whitley of Staunton, Va., and Frances Rimmer of Woodland; a brother, James E. Lee of Woodland; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Woodland Baptist Church with the Rev. Heath Lloyd and the Rev. Lamar Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Massey Funeral Home, Aulander, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Miss Martin was born in Fulton County, Ohio on Jan. 5, 1976 to William H. Martin and Cindy Hawkins Eller. She worked as a CNA. She is survived by a son, Aaron Martin of the home; a daughter, Mariah Martin of the home; her mother and stepfather, Cindy Hawkins Eller and Billy Eller of West Jefferson; her father and stepmother, William H. Martin and Diana Martin, of Seattle, Wash.; three brothers, Chris Eller and Billy Eller Jr., both of West Jefferson and Mathew Martin of Boone; two sisters, Erica Maki of Seattle and Wendy Maki of Alford Station, N.Y.; maternal grandparents, Bernie and Patricia Wanner of Ohio; paternal grandparents, Gene and Sue Eller of West Jefferson, Howard and Ginny Martin of Toledo, Ohio and Clarence and Ella Jayne Whitaker of Bradner, Ohio; and two nieces and three nephews. A funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel, West Jefferson, by the Rev. John Crawford and the Rev. Wayne Jones. Burial will follow in the Kemp-Lewis Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Turner KITTY HAWK -- Arline L. Turner, 75, died April 19, 2003 at her home. She was the wife of John William Turner Jr. for 49 years. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Rose Oppenhouer Linke and an artist in the Outer Banks. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Scott Turner and wife Debbie of Damascus, Md. and Mark Turner and wife Tammy of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; one daughter, Diane and husband Fred Atwell of Mt. Airy, Md.; five grandchildren; and one brother, Richard O. Linke of Hawaii. She was predeceased by one son, Kurt Turner and one brother, Paul Linke. A memorial service will be held at Duck United Methodist Church on Saturday at noon with a reception to follow at the Duck Woods Country Club from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Albemarle Hospice Association, P.O.
