26th day of November A.D.1870

I Seth R(iddick) Norfleet being of sound mind and considering the
uncer tainty of life do make this my last Will and Testement.
Item 1st I leave my beloved wife Martha Eliza all the land on the north
side of the Alphin Tract,also all the household and kitchen furniture
except one bed apiece for each of the children.I give to my beloved wife
one horse,one ox,two sows and pigs,two cows and calves,five sheep,4
stocks bees,one buggy,one horse cart and wheels,one tumbler cart and
wheels,plough and gear hoes,and one years provisions,also the use of the
bull dings on the south side of the lane.

Item 2nd I give to my daughter Harriett S Cross the place where she
now lives.

Item 3rd I give to my son William J Norfleet the place known as the
Beeman place.

Item 4th I give to my daughter Mary E Norfleet one thousand ($1000)
dollars,one bed and furniture and one cow and calf.

Item 5th I give to my daughter Martha M(adora) Norfleet one thousand
($1000)dollars,one bed and furniture and one cow and calf.

Item 6th I give to my daughter Sarah A Norfleet the place where I now
live(after her mothers death)known as the home and Alphin tract.Also the
land on the south side of the lane,one cow and calf,and one bed and
furniture.

Item 7th I leave the Brandy wine tract,the Mill,my interest in the
store and the remainder of my property not to disposed of to be sold and
after paying my just debts and my legacies given off the remainder to be
equally divided among all my heirs.

I leave my wife Martha Eliza my Executrix my son William and son in
law J.F.Cross my Executors to this last Will and Testement.
