The app is showing in Chinese

Hiddify opened in Chinese? It's one menu deep. Here's the exact tap sequence.

If Hiddify opens in Chinese, the language was inherited from your App Store region. The fix is one menu deep.

Switch to English

  1. Open Hiddify.
  2. Tap the gear icon (top-right on most builds, bottom-left on a few).
  3. Find the row labeled 语言 (usually third or fourth from the top). It means "Language".
  4. Tap the dropdown and pick English.

The change is immediate. No restart.

If you can't find the gear icon

  • On older Android builds, the gear is hidden behind a hamburger menu in the top-left.
  • On iOS, swipe down on the main screen to reveal the toolbar if it's been collapsed.
